My Style:

Currently, I am a hybrid photographer. All this means is that I shoot film AND digital images as a part of my offered packages. I love the texture and intention that comes with shooting film. There is a nostalgia in film that (in my opinion) cannot be replicated with a solely digital medium. Film also lends itself to being messy in the most fun ways. If you like authentic, photo-journalistic photography, you'll love film. Shooting both film and digital images allows me to be creative while also offering crisp and professional-level photos to my clients where none of the important moments are missed.

Hi. I'm Myah.

My love for stories began as a child. I vividly remember begging my dad to tell me a story every night before I went to bed. Some of his stories were valuable in their humor, others in their wisdom, and some simply through their realness. As I grew older, I became an avid reader myself – consuming stories as often as I could; I was drawn especially to biographies and tales that revealed the innermost details of life. This love of reading turned into a love of writing, and eventually a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts. Though I'm not much of a writer these days, it's an honor to be able to tell stories through my photography. Each individual's story is important and worth telling; I hope I get to be the one to help you tell yours.
